Data centers
Wheel wash systems for data center construction
SiteWash systems for tier one data center and advanced manufacturing builds: fixed schedules, audited environmental controls and traffic around the clock.
The requirement
What the site needs
Data center and semiconductor projects run to fixed schedules with clients who audit environmental controls. The wheel wash has to run continuously and prove it.
On a semiconductor fabrication plant in Europe, two SiteWash 10 systems ran 24 hours a day for two years and handled 400 trucks a day with no unplanned downtime.

Engineering considerations
What we size for
- Program
- Installed in a day by two fitters, with no concrete pit, slab or hot work.
- Throughput
- Up to 400 trucks a day on a reference project.
- Evidence
- Weekly SiteWash Record reports for the client's environmental team, in beta.
- Repeatability
- One design across every size, for contractors delivering campus after campus.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
Can a wheel wash run 24 hours a day?
Yes. Two SiteWash 10 systems ran 24 hours a day for two years on a semiconductor fabrication plant, with no unplanned downtime.
How do we show the client the wheel wash is working?
SiteWash Record, in beta, logs every wash with a timestamp, together with water level, turbidity, faults and inspections, and produces a weekly report for clients and auditors.
How large a system does a data center site need?
Large data center sites often run a SiteWash 6, 8 or 10, sized to daily traffic and ground conditions.
Will installation hold up the program?
Two fitters install a SiteWash 4 in one day, once groundworks are complete, with no concrete pit, slab or hot work.
